Looks like they are going to launch an anti virus product. This isn't a huge suprise considering they bought GeCAD a while ago. It is ironic that they are taking advantage of the poor decision to bundling Internet Exploder/Outhouse Express w/every Windows version (that is so riddled w/holes that it is probably the most commonly used infection vector for viruses, worms, and trojans) to create a new revenue stream. Why bother fixing the problem when you can just sell the “solution”. Wasn't it called a protection racket when the mafia did it? Add this to the whole SP2 won't work on commonly pirated installs and it definitely shows that any security focus they claimed to have is just theater.
