Cisco was the victim a couple days ago. Now, an Australian company providing anti-spam solutions is the latest victim in the spam wars. While the attack on them wasn't a traditional DDoS but a joe-job (which is still a denial of service) it still shows the convergence of viruses, trojans, and spam which allows spammers to control an army of zombie machines–usually connected via high-speed broadband connections–to do any dirty work they desire.
This is just the latest in a series of attacks.
